The Funniest Moment in World History?

The earth has a fever, yet it is covered in snowCopenhagen was a failure. The "science" of climate change, at least the "science peddled by western governments and the UN, has been discredited. Anthropogenic global warming (aka warming caused by man) is just another fad like "heelys" or eugenics (a popular belief among liberal/progressives in the early 20th century).

From the UK Telegraph...

If there were not $45trillion of Western citizens’ money at stake, this would be the funniest moment in world history. What a bunch of buffoons. Not since Neville Chamberlain tugged a Claridge’s luncheon bill from his pocket and flourished it on the steps of the aircraft that brought him back from Munich has a worthless scrap of paper been so audaciously hyped. There was one good moment at Copenhagen, though: some seriously professional truncheon work by Danish Plod on the smellies. Otherwise, this event is strictly for Hans Christian Andersen.

A bunch of buffoons indeed.

"Unprecedented" Agreement Reached in Copenhagen

President Obama just announced an "unprecedented" agreement on climate change.

The AP has the details...

COPENHAGEN – President Barack Obama said the United States,China and several other countries reached an "unprecedented breakthrough" Friday to curb greenhouse gas emissions — including a mechanism to verify compliance — after a frenzied day of diplomacy at the U.N. climate talks.

The agreement, which also includes the developing nations of India, South Africa and Brazil, requires each country to list the actions they will take to cut global warming pollution by specific amounts, a senior Obama administration official said. The official described the deal on the condition of anonymity because specific details had not been announced.

So let me get this straight. The "unprecedented" deal announced by Mr. Obama involves countries writing down specific actions they will take to reduce pollution and save the earth from catastrophic climate change. I'm no scientist but this sounds a lot like my New Year's resolutions... you know, the ones I NEVER keep?

By the way, Obama sure likes to use the word "unprecedented," doesn't he?

In other news, the North Korea delegation caused quite a stink in Denmark earlier today when they released video footage of the delicate negotiations that led to the climate change to-do list...

Yep, this clip NEVER gets old.
